Post-Operative Donor Site Dressing
Different methods of manipulation of the palate donor site after graft harvesting have been developed to reduce donor site morbidity. SELECT.ONE created a bioadhesive functional matrix hydrocolloid dressing to support the healing of the palatal donor area. Its immunomodulating activity regulates tissue regeneration, neovascularization, and neoinnervation. It alleviates pain and prevents the development of prolonged inflammation—a tremendous enhancement of patients’ post-operative comfort.
Antiinflammatiory and Anti-Bacterial Mouthwash
Good oral hygiene after oral surgery and proper wound care following oral surgical procedures hastens recovery and prevent complications. Yet even careful teeth brushing around the surgical sites can trigger a small amount of bleeding. Conversely, the lack of brushing may lead to a secondary infection. Occasionally, patients have been prescribed an anti-bacterial or coagulant mouth rinse. SELECT.ONE created an anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial mouthwash that enhances and accelerates wound healing beyond oral hygiene.
Postoperative Foam
The postoperative period after oral surgery is critical to recovering and mitigating complications. SELECT.ONE designed a specialized oral foam to minimize pain and swelling and lessen the chance of infection and complications. In addition, it controls the oral microflora, prevents biofilm formation, alleviates pain, and modulates wound healing without applying APIs. Moreover, the pleasant flavor and wonderful foam texture contribute to positive sensory perception. This is a universal product aimed at managing patient comfort after oral surgery.
Madnibular Adipose Tissue Inflammation
Maxillo-mandibular bone marrow defects are becoming increasingly recognized as one of the cardinal triggers of peri-implantitis and tooth loss. These effects are caused by many systemic or local signals that cause chronic inflammation in the bone marrow tissue. Predominantly, surgical procedures are applied to remove degraded tissue and regenerate bone. SELECT.ONE approached this problem with a systemic and local treatment that halts the inflammatory processes and restores the balance between bone resolution and formation.
Gingival Tissue Phenotype Modification
A thin periodontal phenotype may predispose the initiation or progression of recession defects. On the contrary, a native thick tissue phenotype has been associated with more favorable clinical outcomes following corrective periodontal procedures, such as root coverage and periodontal regeneration. SELECT.ONE is proud to develop a convenient method of harvesting a patient’s primary fibroblasts, culturing them, and using them as an autologous hydrogel graft to augment keratinized gingiva.
Bone Regeneration
Systemic immune inflammation related to periodontitis, peri-implantitis, maxilla-mandibular bone marrow defects, and fatty degenerative osteolysis leads to osteoclast activation and decreased bone density. Therefore, surgical treatments to address bone defects, such as bone grafts, the Masquelet technique, the Ilizarov technique, etc., require bone density enhancement. Additionally, systemic inflammatory diseases must be factored in to mitigate the inflammatory environment successfully. Our answer is a supplementation regimen designed to ameliorate proinflammatory signaling and stimulate osteoblast activity.
